Glenealy Plantations Sdn Bhd has been operating major oil palm plantations in Malaysia and Indonesia for over 60 years. The company intends to utilize its international market presence to establish mills that take proactive steps to protect environmental sustainability.

Since its listing on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia in 1973, the firm has been given international recognition as a reputable plantation company. In May 2015, Glenealy Plantations (Malaya) Berhad was established as Glenealy Plantations Sdn Bhd ensuing the privatization and delisting of the company in line with Samling Group’s restructuring process in November 2012.

As at June 2019, Glenealy stewards 41,354 hectares of fertile land worldwide, including a total plantation area of 40,468 hectares. In Malaysia, a vast 35,469 hectares of land is utilized for oil palm plantations. The Group's subsidiaries hold a landbank amounting to 6,884 hectares in Indonesia.

Samling Group runs palm oil mills in Lahad Datu, Sabah as well as Belaga, Lana and Jelalong in Sarawak. All our mills are managed by experienced professionals and well equipped with state-of-the-art milling technology to ensure optimal efficiency. Timor Enterprises, one of Samling’s subsidiaries, received nationwide acclaim from Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) for achieving the highest oil extraction rate (OER) under the 'Own Fruit Supply’ category in Sarawak for the year 2002 and 2007.
